The world’s biggest beer festival is in Munich Germany. Last year was the 200th anniversary of October Fest in Munich, and this year Tokyo will celebrate 150 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and Germany with an October Fest in Yoyogi Park in Shibuya from July 21st, to July 25th.
Yes, October Fest in July; why not? Drop by and sample German food, and BEER; lots and lots of German beer. I am all about imbibing of some bratwurst, sauerkraut, pretzels, and if I am really lucky I might be able to find some strudel… yummy yummy yummy! Admission to the festival is free, so just bring enough money to buy your food and beer, and remember to be careful drinking in the summer sun! It is very easy to drink a bit too much while trying to cool down.
