The annual American Chamber of Commerce in Japan Kansai Walk-A-Thon, now in its 10th year, is a sponsored 3 km walk to raise money for charity featuring plenty of walking, as well as entertainment, international food booths, and kids’ play areas to explore. The walk is to support “women in the workplace by improving the working environment for women in Japan” as well as to contribute to the growth of Kansai, its society and business.
The Kansai Walkathon will be held at the Canadian Academy MAP, located on Rokko Island, an artificial island in Kobe on October 15, 2015.
